In this video I called a prospect up that had inquired about our coaching program 4 months prior and didn’t pull the trigger. I didn’t speak to him the first time around, this was my first time calling him.

You will notice that I didn’t spend much time selling him our features and benefits, instead I spent the time asking him very tough and thought provoking questions. The key is to make the prospect come to their own conclusion that they NEED you as the solution to their problems. You see a big problem for a lot of sales people is they think selling is about vomiting how cool their widget is or how many bells and whistles their widget has.

IF YOU LEARN NOTHING ELSE FROM ME LEARN THIS:

Your prospect ONLY cares about the features and benefits of your products/services that SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS. That means you must become an expert at effective question asking. You need to be able to keep your prospect talking to you and explaining all their pains. You need to be able to repeat those pains back to them to make sure they recognize them as a pain. Once you have enough pain (Ammunition) THEN you guide them to the only reasonable conclusion which is to let you solve their problems and relieve their pain.

If you don’t solve a problem for your prospect they will not buy from you. No matter how hard pressure or annoying you become you will lose.

Although I didn’t close this deal on the spot HE DID CALL BACK 7 DAYS LATER AND PURCHASED SO IT WAS STILL  ANOTHER VICTORY FOR SEAN! The reason is that I made him think about things he had never thought about, I asked him the tough questions most coaches have not asked him and he had no choice but to let it resonate and after a week he came to the conclusion that he wanted to work with me.
